Monroe Soil and Water Conservation District
Equipment Rental Program

The District maintains the following equipment for use by landowners for a

nominal fee to promote conservation tillages, nutrient management, enhance crop

production, and conserve the Soil & Water resources in the county.

A signed rental agreement form must be on file with the SWCD office before equipment can be used.

The Aerway is available for rent at $3 per acre with a minimum charge of $30 for in County Residents. For Out-Of County Landowners, the cost is $4 per acre with a $40 minimum charge.

A 40 to 80hp tractor is recommended with single remote hydraulics.

The No-till Drill is available for rent at a cost of $8 per acre with a minimum charge of $24 for Monroe County landowners. Out of county landowners will be charged $9.00 per care with a $30 minimum charge.

A 55hp tractor is recommended to use the drill. The drill takes single remone hydraulics.

 

The lime spreader is available for rent to Monroe County Landowners for $1.50 per ton with a minimum charge of $25. Out of county residents are charged $2.50 per ton with a $40 minimum charge.

A 55hp 4X4 tractor with single remote hydraulics is recommended to use the lime spreader.

Lime is not to be transported in the buggy.

No more that 4 ton in the spreader at a time.

Absolutely no fertilizer is to be placed in the spreader.

 

The cost of renting the 2-row no-till corn planter is $10 per acre with a minimum charge of $50 for Monroe County landowners. Out of county landowners are charged $11 per acre with a $55 minimum charge.

A 25hp tractor with single remote hydraulics is recommended to use the 2-row no-till corn planter.

 

Charges on the 4-row no-till corn planter is progressive based on usage. Acres 1-10 are $14 per acre; 11-20 $12 per acre; 21-30 $10 per acre; all acres over 30 are $8 per acre for Monroe County residents. There is a $70 minimum charge. Out of county residents pay $15 per acres for acres 1-10; $13 per acre for acres 11-20; $11 per acre for acres 21-30 and $9 per acre for all acres over 30. There is a $75 minimum charge for out of county usage.

A 60hp tractor with single remote hydraulics is recommended to use the 4-row no-till corn planter.

Charges on the Brillion Seeder are progressive based on usage. The first 10 acres are charged a rate of $7 per acre; acres over the first 10 are charged $5 per acre for Monroe County landowners. There is a $35 minimum charge. Out of county landowners are charged $8 for the first 10 acres; $6 for all acres after the first 10. There is a minimum charge of $40.

There are no horse power requirements listed on for the Brillion Seeder. You will need single remote hydraulics.
